2011 MISS BEAVER COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT
Presented by The Beaver County Commission and the Scholarship Pageant Committee.

Scholarships Awarded
Beaver County Commission Academic Scholarships:
Miss Beaver County $1,500.00
1st Attendant $500.00
2nd Attendant $500.00
Miss Congeniality $200.00
Miss Photogenic $200.00
*All scholarship money will be paid directly to the college, university, or other accredited institution.
Judging Breakdown
25% - Presentation and Community Achievement in Private Interview
35% - Artistic Expression in Talent Competition
20% - Presence and Poise in Evening Wear Competition
15% - Fitness and Lifestyle in Swimsuit Competition
5% - On-Stage Questions
Girls must be the age of 17 before the August 9th pageant date, a High School graduate before June 13, 2012, and no older than age 24 by December 31, 2012. Girls must also have been a resident of Beaver County for 6 months prior to the August 9th pageant date. The new Miss Beaver County will be required to help at the Beaver County Fair on August 10-13, promote her platform by doing assemblies in all schools in the County, and represent the County by competing in the 2011 Miss Utah Pageant held in Salt Lake City. Any girl interested in competing, please contact LaRayne Brown. Applications and a $25 entrance fee are due by Saturday, July 30, 2011.

Queen 16-21 Years $30.00
Princess 12-15 Years $15.00
Jr. Princess 8-11 Years $15.00
Judging will consist of horsemanship skills and knowledge, personality, speech, personal appearance and personal interview. The event is open to the public and is free of charge to spectators. The queen will be awarded a $500.00 cash scholarship to further her education. For entry forms or questions, pleast call LeeAnn Dalton at 435-438-6410 or 435-438-5347.
